(8/1/18_12/1/18)
It was the eighth and the last week of our school internship programme. In the five days of the week,we came to the school at right time. And also,we put sign in the attendance register during morning and evening. In this week I got almost seven substitution classes. It was a chance for me to interact with more students.
On Monday, in the basis of timetable, I conducted achievement test in the class. I included the question from the fourth unit ' Dawn of Hope' of twenty-five mark . They took one hour to complete the test . In the next day I gave them the answer sheet inorder to check it out . I gave them proper reinforcement for motivate them. After that I taught them the weak portion of that particular unit that I found from the achievement test. On Wednesday , in the second period I conducted the diagnostic test out of ten marks . They had done it within fifteen minutes. After that I gave them some tips for improving their pronunciation. On Thursday, I taught them the chapter"The last leaf" by following the innovative lesson plan. During the questioning section, I found that , each and every students became well familiar with the topic as they answered properly . On that day I got an extra period in the class . I made them to read passages from the text itself and I found that they had much improvement in their pronunciation. On Friday, Amitha and myself conducted a consentization programme in 9A which was related to 'The impact of mobile phones' . With the permission of the school headmaster, we took videos and photos of our class . After that we distributed sweets among students , teachers and non teaching staffs . After that we visited the headmaster and took back the attendance register. Overall the second phase of school internship programme was unforgettable one . It seems to be a wonderful experience to all of us.
